Meet Lakin, a book fiend from way back who reads anything and everything. She has an unhealthy obsession with classical literature and is forever pestering those around her to love it as much as she does. A graduate of Law, History and Classics, she is the Practice Coordinator of a Medical Centre by day, and by night she dreams of working in publishing. In her spare time she loves to shop, discover new music, drink too much tea, and of course read. She lives in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Reviews by Lakin Wilton:

I can safely say that this layered family drama is one of the best mysteries I have ever read, and let me tell you, I read A LOT of mysteries.
This is a bit of old-fashioned escapism. With stunning details of Pacific islands, some romance, and fascinating characters, it felt like going to a day spa.
This is a light, furious, page turner. The authenticity of this missing child mystery felt like it fell out of the national news.
As someone who was obsessed with the first series of the podcast Serial, this book had me hooked from the get go.
I’m a long-time book fiend and a lover of love. A quirky romance that references other books? Sign me up!
